1. Failure Description

User Code	E02	Failure	PC-EPC (F) Solenoid Coil Circuit Break (Pump Controller System)
Fault Code	DXA8KA
Failure Details	When PC-EPC (F) solenoid coil was driven, circuit break was detected
Controller Response	No particular response (Since no current flows, the solenoid doesn’t work); If the cause of failure disappears, the system resets itself.
Problem on Machine	If the pump load increases, the engine speed drops sharply and the engine may stall
Relevant Information	The drive current of PC-EPC (F) can be checked with monitoring function (Code: 01300 PC-EPC solenoid coil current (F)); Method of reproducing the fault code: Turn the starting switch to the ON position.
Also Applicable to	PC200-8, PC220-8, PC210-8, PC300-8, PC400-8, etc.

2. Troubleshooting

Before getting down to specific troubleshooting, let's take a look at the circuit diagram below first:

The following are possible causes and detection methods:

PC-EPC (F) Solenoid Coil Fault (Internal Circuit Break)

Detection method: Turn the starting switch to the OFF position, be prepared, and then perform fault diagnosis without turning the starting switch to the ON position.
Standard values:

V11 (male)	Resistance value
Between (1) - (2)	7-14Ω

Emergency Pump Drive Switch Fault (Internal Circuit Break)

Detection method: Turn the starting switch to the OFF position, be prepared, and then perform fault diagnosis without turning the starting switch to the ON position.
Standard values:

S25 (male)	Emergency pump drive switch	Resistance value
Between (3) - (2)	Normal	Max. 1Ω
Between (3) - (2)	Emergency	Min. 1MΩ
Between (6) - (5)	Normal	Max. 1Ω
Between (6) - (5)	Emergency	Min. 1MΩ

Wiring Harness Circuit Break (Wiring Harness Circuit Break or Poor Connector Contact)

Detection method: Turn the starting switch to the OFF position, be prepared, and then perform the fault diagnosis without turning the starting switch to the ON position.
Standard values:

Wiring harness	Resistance value
Wiring harness between C02 (female) (96) and S25 (female) (3)	Max. 1Ω
Wiring harness between S25 (female) (2) and V11 (female) (1)	Max. 1Ω
Wiring harness between C02 (female) (115), (117), (120) and S25 (female) (6)	Max. 1Ω
Wiring harness between S25 (female) (5) and V11 (female) (2)	Max. 1Ω

Faulty Pump Controller

Detection method: Turn the starting switch to the OFF position, be prepared, and then perform fault diagnosis without turning the starting switch to the ON position.
Standard values:

Wiring harness	Resistance value
Between (96) -(115), (117), (120)	7-14Ω
